Audra Whatley

AudraAudra Whatley received her Bachelor of Science in genetics from Texas A&M University, after which she worked in medical research facilities creating diagnostics and vaccines for allopathic medicine. After a lifetime of battling allergies and sinus problems of her own, she found relief using alternative medicine. She then chose to attend a school for alternative medicine instead of a traditional medical school.

Audra earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas. This four-year program consists of 2,600 hours of education including 870 hours of clinical practice and 420 hours of herbology. She is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as a Diplomate in Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This includes certification in Clean Needle Technique, Acupoint location and Chinese Herbology. Audra has been a practicing acupuncturist since 2003.
